For those of you who follow me on Instagram or email, you knew today was a big day. For months I’ve been working behind the scenes, and today The Bookshelf Styling Class is finally open for enrollment!
When I was first planning my online decorating classes, I decided to start with a class on how to style a bookshelf. Why? Because styling a bookshelf is TOUGH. It can feel like trying to do a puzzle with missing pieces (while on sedatives). You can arrange and rearrange a shelf 100 times and still feel confused as to why it isn’t working. Sound familiar?
But if you get it right, a well-styled bookshelf can be a total game changer.
Bookshelves have the potential to be both functional and beautiful and completely transform the look of a space. They can share your style and tell your story. BUT they can easily become a #hotmess if you don’t have a strategy in place.
How to Style a Bookshelf
If you’ve ever Googled “how to style a bookshelf” and been disappointed by all the vague tips or generic advice you saw (maybe accompanied by gorgeous pictures you felt helpless to recreate in your own home), then I created this class for you, sister.
After working with over 150 clients and styling (and restyling) countless shelves over the years, I developed a tried-and-true method to styling bookshelves.
In the class, I break down exactly what you need to have on a well-balanced shelf and give you my specific method to follow.
I also share tons of tips and examples to help you use your existing pieces, shop smart, and learn basic design principles that can work with any style of decor.
The Bookshelf Styling Class is a self-paced online class and when you sign up, you get access to the class content immediately. It comes with 4 video lessons, cheat sheets, templates, and styling homework.
BUT this isn’t just a class about bookshelves. In this course I will teach you how to layer objects and style decorative pieces in a collection. These principles can be applied to many other areas of your home too.
When you learn a strategy, style with intention, and then see the HUGE impact it makes-I promise, promise, promise you will want to keep going. I can’t wait to tell you more and hope to see you in class:)
You can check out all the details about the class (and watch a little video) right over here.
