We’ve been talking and emailing about a plan for this room since before Christmas, and it turned out to have all the color and little touches of whimsy that she had hoped. There’s so much to love in this room, so prepare yourself.
The rug and curtains are from Urban Outfitters. The dresser was a vintage find. Remember the fabric banner that I made for my 30th birthday brunch? Well, it has found its permanent home…
I love how she found creative ways to incorporate the baby’s name in the room.
Also, she shopped flea markets to find vintage books and toys that worked with her color scheme.
And one last time, here is the prettiest little darling in the room…
Inspired yet? Everything about this room is so bright and soft and beautiful. I might be biased, but I think it’s one of the best nurseries around.

Very cute room! All the little details all work so well together and OMG that little Olive is one pretty baby!
Wow! I’m in love with this room. Heather, I may have to call upon you someday when a little one finally comes along for us. =)
This room is just absolute perfection!! Love love the hot air balloon theme! I love how everything is fun while still sophisticated and omg just melt over those pictures of little Olive.
Jen- I love the rocking chair too. Colleen, I haven’t seen hot air balloons used with such soft colors before. I think that’s why I love it so much.
PS-I think they’re going to call Olive “Liv” for short. How cute is that??
Love the nursery! Do you know what the wall color is by any chance? Thanks for sharing.
Unbelievably precious!!!
So fresh and sweet. I love it! And so random – I just bought that same hot air balloon pic this past weekend at an estate sale. I’m going to put it in my bedroom as well.
I can’t get over how precious this room (and the little girl) is! I never thought to have grey walls in a nursery but it looks SO good! I just love it with the soft colours. Baaaaah I can’t get over it’s adorableness!

Ok Ladies–The WALL COLOR is Benjamin Moore Stonington Gray. The MOBILE was from Restoration Hardware Baby, but Laura painted it to match her color scheme.
Ah such a beautiful room, I especially love the quilt, I’m in awe of anyone who can create quilts as I’m trying to learn. Just found your blog, it looks beautiful!

Great job! Is there anyway you could let me know the wall paint color! I really want to use this room as inspiration for my baby girl’s nursery (she’s due late April!) and I really want to get the wall color right!
Congrats! The paint color is Stonington Gray, No. HC-170, Benjamin Moore.

Oh good! Thanks for stopping by.
If you decide to sell the balloon mobile, I would love to buy it. My daughter is expecting and RH Baby doesn’t sell this anymore.
You can email me if you sell! inawannabe@gmail.com
I am in love! Nice work this room is unbelievable! Please do tell me where you found the ruffle drapes! Tia Meredith
Hi Meredith! They were purchased from Urban Outfitters about 4 years ago.
Hi,
Where is the balloon picture from?
If the picture was a vintage find, is there a name or artist’s name on it?
I’m so sorry Laurel, it was vintage and my friend since sold it do no info is available. Wish I could help!
