Organizing a toddler’s room turns out to be quite different than organizing one fit for a baby. Perhaps that’s just my experience. When Gemma was a newborn I had items in her room perfectly arranged, so I knew exactly where to access them. Once my maternity leave was over, this sweet little utopia of a room quickly became a colorful hot mess. These days my fiercely independent 15-month old wants to do everything herself, including pulling out toys and books. I worked with HomeGoods to reorganize her “toddler room” room that allowed her a bit more independence and me a few corners of controlled clutter.

Painted wire baskets to match her room were the perfect storage solutions for the ever growing amount of stuff we keep accumulating. How does this happen, by the way?? I feel like I clean things out every few weeks, but they just keep multiplying. Exactly how many stuffed animals does one very small person really need? Apparently, ninety-seven.
Was just in Home Goods on Saturday (thankfully I don’t go there a lot…could be very dangerous on our budget!) Love all your organizing gems! I think any/all moms would love some pretty organizing totes so thanks for the opportunity!
Man I love that store. Eye candy for adults is right on.
It looks like the giveaway hasn’t started yet? It says it starts soon on my screen.
So sorry! I just fixed it!
That’s ok, just a great giveaway! Thanks!!

Home Goods is a favorite place of mine. So many great finds there. I like the way you have the clothes separated into size categories – so much more convenient and easy to find what you are looking for that way.
Your daughter is adorable and her room is so nicely organized! Thanks for such a great giveaway.
I’m in a continual struggle to organize and cutify (not a word, but I like it) my house. and Home Goods is a great place to do both of those things!
Gosh Gemma is so adorable! I love Home Goods as well. You did a great job, i really like the headband holder….very cute!

Oh my gosh she is adorable! I love basket central. I definitely need something similar for my preschooler. 🙂
I love HomeGoods! They have so many great things!! Love how you incorporated some organization into Gemma’s room! So very cute 🙂
I love the clothing totes with months (6-12). This would help to make finding clothes easier.
I love the whole look!
Oh to decorate/organize a little girl’s room! I have 3 boys and just did their closet with some free commercial grade melamine shelving that my Dad gave us from one of his jobs (that was just getting thrown away!) and laundry baskets. It’s wide enough to store 5 baskets on each of the 3 shelves, plus 4 more on the floor. It’s been amazing to feel like everything has it’s place. Definitely therapeutic! Now, it’s onto the master closet which needs a ton of help!
I know what you mean about Home Goods and being a kid in a candy store….I don’t think I’ve ever left empty handed…there’s always something (if not more) in there that I want…..love the idea of the headband carousel.

I’m so glad it’s not just my 15 month old that turns their room into a mess to end all messes! Earlier this week I found quite a few of my socks in my sons wardrobe where it appears he has been making some sort of nest. I’d love to get some of the wire baskets but he’d only wear them as a helmet. Or worst case scenario – make me wear one as a helmet… Still, beautiful room you’ve made – I love me some IKEA soft toys!
Oh yeah, it’s bad. Nothing in our house if EVER where it should be;/// Thanks for the sweet words:)
